A much sought after national motivational speaker, author, social worker, and publisher; born in Brewton, Alabama, A. Faye Boykin graduated Salutatorian of the Southern Normal Class of 1978 and graduated with honors from Tuskegee University in 1981 with a degree in social work. After living in the Dallas, Texas area for almost twenty years, she now resides in the Birmingham, Alabama area.
A. Faye is a positive and spiritually led woman of the 21st century. It is the "spoken and written words" of Boykin's life that are woven into her talks and writings. "Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional," she says. She relentlessly proves it is not where you live, but what lives in you.
